Job summary

Rubberflex in Bentong, Malaysia is hiring a Senior QC Engineer/Executive to strengthen quality control through advanced statistical methods and FMECA leadership on our latex thread production lines.

You will drive SPC-based process control, perform risk analyses, and lead CAPA programs while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and customer specifications. A hands-on, results-oriented engineer is essential in our modernization phase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven Quality Control experience in heavy manufacturing or polymer/rubber processing.
• Proven mastery of FMECA applied to industrial processes and strong data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and monitor SPC frameworks across production lines to track process variation and product quality.
• Lead FMECA analyses for existing lines and new equipment; identify failure modes and preventive controls.
• Oversee daily QC checks on the factory floor; diagnose root causes and drive CAPA with production teams.
• Drive process optimization to reduce scrap and waste while improving product reliability.
• Generate data-backed quality reports for management and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and internal specs.
