Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA Leader to proactively investigate production quality issues and drive CAPA actions. You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve problems quickly and sustain Lean initiatives across the plant.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in a similar role within plastics packaging, strong RCA/CAPA experience, and fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia communication to support diverse teams and clients.

Proactively lead the systematic investigation and troubleshooting of production quality issues.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and fully document and execute robust Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurrence.
Drive decisive quality decision-making while coordinating with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly.
Oversee Operation Lean initiatives and monitor production processes to identify quality risks, streamline workflows, and minimize waste.
Review and analyze quality metrics, customer complaints, and non-conformance reports using Pareto charts to prioritize high-impact defect trends.
Ensure strict compliance with global quality standards, internal procedures, and client-specific packaging requirements.
Support new product introductions (NPI), process modifications, and continuous improvement projects by leveraging extensive knowledge in the flexible packaging industry.
Conduct comprehensive audits, operational inspections, and formal verification of executed CAPA measures.
Prepare data-driven quality reports and present analytical findings and decisive recommendations to the executive management team.
Mentor and guide QA Engineers and QA Inspectors on systematic troubleshooting protocols and root-cause problem-solving.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives combining Lean methodologies and Pareto analysis to enhance product quality, yield, and manufacturing efficiency.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience in the plastic flexible packaging industry is an added advantage.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
