Ambition in Melaka is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to drive quality across the full product lifecycle in a precision manufacturing environment.

You will manage complaints, support NPI and first article qualification, maintain ISO 9001/14001 compliance, and lead improvement projects while collaborating with customers and factory teams.

Qualifications

• Proven quality engineering background in precision or high-tech manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with IQC, IPQC, OQC processes and advanced inspection tools.
• Practical knowledge of CAPA, SCAR, and MRB workflows.
• Experience in NPI and first article qualification processes.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Strong communicator, liaising between customer and factory teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage complaint investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA/SCAR through to closure.
• Deploy advanced inspection equipment to support product release across IQC, IPQC, and OQC stages.
• Chair MRB review meetings to drive timely resolution of non-conformance reports.
• Compile shipment inspection reports and collaborate with internal teams on MRB/RTV processing.
• Support NPI and first article qualification, including drawing reviews, source inspection, and FA package submission.
• Maintain manufacturing documentation and uphold ISO 9001/14001 requirements.
• Lead improvement projects and support ESG and sustainability initiatives.

The Role
