Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks a Construction/Project Manager to lead daily project site operations and coordinate with consultants for design approvals. You will plan from pre-development through post-development to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets, and liaise with authorities and contractors to ensure compliance and progress.

The role requires strong English and Bahasa Malaysia, a relevant degree, and at least 6 years of experience in construction.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
At least 6 year(s) of working experience in related field.
Solid knowledge of construction industry technical matters, procurement routes, infrastructure construction processes and technologies.
Completed a whole project cycle.
Escalates feedback and resolves key decisions, financial forecast and corrective actions when results deviate from plan.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee daily operation of the project site and determine duties for site staff.
Provide technical support and advice to project teams.
Coordinate with consultant team in design to obtain approval for layout plans, building plans and CCC.
Plan, manage, monitor and control from pre-development to post-development to meet quality, cost and time standards.
Liaise with authorities and contractors to ensure compliance and progress.
Report project progress during weekly meetings and on demand.
Monitor progress to ensure completion within budget and time, and adherence to safety and quality requirements.
