Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a capable Project Coordinator to plan, supervise and manage development projects in Ipoh. The role involves coordinating with authorities, consultants and contractors to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality.

The candidate should have a Degree or equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with solid skills in MS Office and AutoCAD, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Independent work under supervision is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD applications.
• Proficient in both oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and manage all aspects of the development projects, ensuring efficient implementation and timely completion.
• Liaise with authorities, consultants, contractors, suppliers and project team members on project matters.
• Participate in viability studies including site visits, market research, feasibility studies and proposals.
• Attend and participate in project meetings, tender interviews, planning and progress meetings.
• Review design concepts, preliminary and construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate and obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, conduct tender comparisons and assist with contract awards.
• Coordinate approvals, licences and permits for site activities from implementation to completion.
• Assist in cost control and project budgeting under supervision.
• Plan, coordinate and manage site activities and resolve technical issues on site.
• Provide timely reports and feedback to management.
• Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders such as government bodies and industry groups.
• Perform any other assignments as required by superiors.
