Job summary

SMBC SSC Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a seasoned project manager to lead banking and IT projects within SSC and collaborate with regional offices. Responsibilities include BPR, system implementation, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.

You will monitor progress, resolve issues, drive process improvements, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver milestones on time. Strong communication, initiative, and time-management are essential to align with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• More than 7 years experiences in Banking and Finance.
• Or more than 5 years of Banking related project experience in IT or Consulting company.
• Preferably intermediate knowledge in Banking Operations products (Trade Finance, Loans, Treasury, Deposit or Remittance).
• Preferably to have professional qualifications in Banking or Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects including BPR, system implementation and other Operations related projects.
• Proactively monitor project execution and identify risks/issues/dependencies with timely communication.
• Organize, participate and/or facilitate stakeholder meetings and capture actions/decisions.
• Document, track and report project progress to meet deadlines and align with goals.
• Work with stakeholders to remove blockers and provide solutions.
• Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and maintain documentation.
• Drive process development to improve efficiency, regulatory compliance and service standards.
• Involve in user requirements and system specifications studies for enhancements and new requirements.
