Job summary

iCrest Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end technology projects in banking software development. You will oversee both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall deliveries, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and enterprise-grade standards.

The role requires strong leadership, governance, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional technical teams across the project lifecycle, from requirements through deployment and post-implementation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT project management experience in banking or financial services.
• Hands-on with Agile Scrum and Waterfall project governance.
• Strong SDLC knowledge and software delivery lifecycle.
• Experience delivering banking applications or financial systems.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Scrum ceremonies and sprint processes.
• Own Jira board, backlog grooming, prioritization, and tracking.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Monitor sprint velocity, burndown charts, and delivery performance.
• Remove impediments and ensure timely delivery of commitments.
• Coordinate with architects, developers, QA, vendors, and infra teams.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, data security, and governance.
• Support release planning, deployment, and post-implementation review.
• Act as liaison between business, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
