Job summary
iCrest Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end technology projects in banking software development. You will oversee both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall deliveries, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and enterprise-grade standards.
The role requires strong leadership, governance, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional technical teams across the project lifecycle, from requirements through deployment and post-implementation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT project management experience in banking or financial services.
- Hands-on with Agile Scrum and Waterfall project governance.
- Strong SDLC knowledge and software delivery lifecycle.
- Experience delivering banking applications or financial systems.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Scrum ceremonies and sprint processes.
- Own Jira board, backlog grooming, prioritization, and tracking.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor sprint velocity, burndown charts, and delivery performance.
- Remove impediments and ensure timely delivery of commitments.
- Coordinate with architects, developers, QA, vendors, and infra teams.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, data security, and governance.
- Support release planning, deployment, and post-implementation review.
- Act as liaison between business, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
