Job summary

A construction and design firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an experienced Project Manager with over 7 years of experience in the architectural or interior design industry. The successful candidate will plan projects, manage budgets, and supervise construction activities ensuring compliance with schedules and quality standards. Strong skills in Microsoft Office and experience with AutoCAD are essential. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Proper planning of projects, scheduling and coordination.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise construction projects to ensure schedule and budget compliance.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Competence in MS Project
Experience with AutoCAD or other drafting software

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, such as Architecture, Interior Design, or Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

Experience

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, preferably within the architectural or interior design industry.

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Competence in MS Project essential
  • Experience with AutoCAD or other drafting software advantageous

Key Responsibilities
  • Proper planning of projects, scheduling and coordination.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation.
  • Resolution of issues including manpower, machineries, materials delivery, logistic etc to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Supervise construction projects to ensure schedule and budget compliance.
  • Responsible for liaison with clients, consultants, architects, sub‑contractors, suppliers, and submission of progress report.
  • Checking of construction drawings and liaison with Project Team on site/technical issues and provide solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Perform all other ad‑hoc duties assigned by the management from time to time.
Additional Qualifications

Preferably with experience in Interior fit‑out Works.

Experience in Data Center project is an added advantage.
