Job summary

Sunway Property, the property arm of Sunway Group, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of development projects in Malaysia, from design development and authority approvals through construction, handover, and defect liability.

You will coordinate consultants, contractors and site teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget and to the required quality, safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 12–15 years of experience in property development and project management.
• Proven experience managing township, mixed development, commercial and/or high-rise residential projects.
• Familiarity with local authority approval processes and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in Johor property development projects is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of QESH management, HIRARC and EHS practices is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, design development and value engineering to optimize cost, quality and marketability.
• Review feasibility studies and development strategies to support business objectives.
• Monitor budgets, development costs and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee all aspects of project execution from pre-construction to handover.
• Lead consultants, contractors and project teams to deliver on time, on budget and to quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, approvals and contractual obligations.
• Oversee CCC, VP handover and defect liability management processes.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation or recovery plans.
• Promote a high-performance, collaborative culture and mentor junior staff.

Education
