Job summary

Sunway Property in Malaysia is seeking a proactive leader to drive project delivery with a focus on time, cost, quality, safety and environmental performance. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, guide cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with standards while managing risks and opportunities for success.

The role requires a degree in engineering or construction management (or related) with 6–8 years of experience, including 1–2 years in a managerial capacity.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or Building Science; diploma accepted with experience.
• Minimum 6–8 years in project/construction management; 1–2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in mixed-development or commercial mall developments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery to meet targets for time, cost, quality and environmental performance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and guide project teams.
• Support design coordination during construction and finishing.
• Monitor consultants and contractors to meet objectives.

Job description

We’re looking for a proactive leader to drive project delivery with strong outcomes in time, cost, quality, safety, and environment. You’ll coordinate with stakeholders, guide teams, and ensure compliance with standards while managing risks and opportunities for success.

Your Key Accountabilities:

Drive project management delivery to achieve targets for time, cost, quality, and environmental performance.

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project and operational requirements.

Support design coordination and implementation during construction and finishing stages.

Monitor and guide consultants’ and contractors’ performance to ensure project objectives are met.

Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, best practices, and relevant regulations.

Implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health Management System (QESHMS).

What We're Looking For:

Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Building Science or related discipline. Diploma qualification with relevant experience can be considered.

Minimum 6 – 8 years of experience, with minimally 1-2 years of managerial capacity in Project Management or Construction Management.

Experience in mixed-development or commercial mall developments are advantageous.
