Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Project Executive / Project Executive (Projects & Maintenance) to serve as the primary technical contact for Outlet Managers, coordinating with vendors to secure competitive repair quotations and compiling quotation packages for management approval.

The role covers site and project execution, PTW clearance, and on-site night-shift monitoring to ensure adherence to specifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or interior design, or equivalent.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin a plus.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Minimum 3–4 years in related field.
• Experience in retail project management is an advantage.
• Good MS Word and Excel skills; proactive and communicative.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for Outlet Managers.
• Source and coordinate with specialized vendors for quotations that meet standards.
• Compile and present quotation packages for management approval.
• Site and project execution, securing PTW and mall access.
• Lead on-site monitoring during night shifts to ensure compliance with specs.
• Oversee night-shift fit-out or renovation works when required.
• Technical first response & diagnostics for issues.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical & electrical issues, including minor component replacements.
• Execute minor carpentry and furniture repairs to maintain store aesthetics.
• Conduct initial site assessments to determine in-house resolution vs escalation.

Senior Project Executive / Project Executive (Projects & Maintenance)

Act as the primary technical point of contact for Outlet Managers

Source and coordinate with specialized vendors to secure competitive, high-quality repair quotations that align with company standards

Compile and present comprehensive quotation packages for management approval

Site & Project Execution

Secure all necessary Permits-to -Work (PTW) and mall access

Lead on-site monitoring during night-shift operations to ensure vendors adhere to technical specifications

Provide critical support to the Project Team by overseeing specialized night-shift fit-out or renovation works as required

Technical "First Response" & Diagnostics

Independently diagnose and resolve fundamental Mechanical & Electrical issues, including the replacement of minor components (e.g., lighting, transformers)

Execute minor carpentry and furniture repairs to maintain store aesthetics

Conduct initial site assessments to determine if a fault can be resolved in-house or requires escalation to an external specialist

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Civil Engineering, architecture, interior design, or equivalent

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage

Required skill(s): AutoCAD

At least 3-4 year(s) of working experience in the related field

Experience in retail project management will be an added advantage

Well-versed with Microsoft Word and Excel

Proactive, independent, positive attitude and able to work in a fast-paced working environment

Self-motivated and good communication skills

Willing to travel and possess own transport

Willing to work on weekends if necessary
