Job summary

Silitech Technology Corporation Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Project Engineer to drive NPI projects from RFQ to production handover. You will review customer drawings, lead tooling development, coordinate APQP activities, and ensure PPAP/ISIR submissions.

This role requires hands-on experience in silicone rubber molding, jigs and fixtures, and strong teamwork. Applicants should have 5+ years in project engineering within manufacturing, with proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks and a proven

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in Mechanical/Materials/Polymer Engineering.
• 5+ years in project engineering or NPI within manufacturing.
• Experience in silicone rubber molding or keypad development preferred.
• Hands-on RFQ feasibility reviews, DFM, tooling development, trials, troubleshooting, and customer coordination.
• Familiar with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans and ISO 9001/IATF 16949.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and independently manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Review customer drawings and specifications; perform RFQ feasibility and DFM; prepare BOM, tooling and process inputs for quotation.
• Lead RFQ-to-production handover projects including tooling development and sample approval.
• Develop project schedules; coordinate APQP activities; monitor progress, risks, and commitments.
• Coordinate tooling fabrication, trials, repairs; analyze results; implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Prepare and review process flows, FMEA, Control Plans; coordinate PPAP/ISIR submissions.
• Evaluate materials, processes, jigs and fixtures for assigned projects.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and escalate issues as needed.
• Adhere to ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 procedures and related duties.
