Job summary

Silitech Technology Corporation Sdn Bhd, a leading automotive input devices manufacturer in Penang, seeks a mechanical tooling engineer responsible for new product set-ups and jig & fixture fabrication. You will support production to ensure continuous manufacturing and on-time shipments, draft technical drawings in 2D/3D CAD, and collaborate with tooling suppliers to resolve design issues.

Qualification includes a degree in mechanical engineering, tooling design knowledge, and experience with

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with tooling design concept.
• Knowledge of stamping/punching tool design and concepts.
• Experience with 3D CAD software applications.
• Knowledge of mechanical/tooling troubleshooting.
• Able to coordinate with tooling/machining suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Set up new products from initial stage to mass production with engineering documents.
• Provide support to production to ensure continuous manufacturing and meet shipment revenue.
• Drafting work based on customer requirements using 2D and 3D CAD software.
• Collaborate with tooling/machining suppliers to resolve design issues.
