Job summary

Silitech Technology Corporation Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an engineer to develop, optimize and validate the hot bending process for plastic components in line with customer specifications. You will define and control critical parameters, provide hands‑on support during setup trials and mass production, and collaborate with tooling, production and quality teams to ensure robust processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in hot bending of plastics to meet specs.
• Ability to define critical process parameters (temperature, time, radius).
• Hands-on support during setup trials and mass production.

• Experience with material evaluation for thermal/mechanical performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize & validate hot bending process according to customer specs.
• Define and control key process parameters: temperature, heating time, bend radius, cooling, cycle time.
• Provide hands-on engineering support during setup trials and mass production.
• Collaborate with tooling, production and quality teams to ensure robust processes and tooling.
• Conduct material evaluations and support material selection based on thermal/mechanical performance.
• Support customer audit technical reviews and change management with the customer.

Job description
