Job summary

PLUS XNERGY SERVICES SDN. BHD. is a Malaysia-based company delivering end-to-end solar project management and engineering design for commercial, industrial and residential sectors.

The role involves leading projects from engineering design through construction, testing and commissioning, and ensuring timely delivery and compliance with government approvals. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), with at least 3 years’ solar project execution

Qualifications

• Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years solar project execution as project engineer.
• Minimum 6 solar project life cycle leadership experience.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Chinese is a plus.
• Valid driving license and own vehicle; willing to travel West Malaysia.

Job description

Primarily engage in end-to-end solar project management and engineering design work.

Lead the entire project execution, including planning and monitoring the delivery for every implementation phase, from engineering design to construction and testing & commissioning stage.

Prepare all project-related documentation, including client contract, progress report and documents required for project approval by government agencies.

Liaise with suppliers for product procurement and delivery.

In charge of site preparation and management, including producing construction schedule, managing site meetings with clients and sub-contractors, and supervising contractor’s system installation work in accordance with approved drawings and relevant engineering / industry standards, along with all necessary HSE requirements.

Arrange for testing & commissioning, and handover documentation assessment.

Provide professional and quality engineering and project management services to clients throughout project lifecycle, including periodic reporting and technical consultancy for clients.

In charge of project milestones follow up – triggering billing on each project milestones and payment collection.

Assist and provide technical guidance to project engineers on-site issues, including troubleshooting system performance, reviewing installation quality, and implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project timelines.

Academic Qualification

Candidate must possess at least an Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Engineering (Electrical) degree.

Experiences

Minimum 3 years of solar project execution as a project engineer.

Minimum 6 solar project life cycle experience as leader position.

Good in English and Bahasa Malaysia and language proficiency with effective speaking and writing skills. Chinese language is an added advantage.

Valid driving license and has own vehicle.

Willing to travel (West Malaysia Peninsular) and work on site.

Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

Mature and proactive, team player, with good stakeholder management skills.
