Job summary

Plus Xnergy Services Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Operation & Maintenance Engineer for residential solar projects.

The role involves technical support during pre-sales and post-installation to ensure excellent customer experience, and performing O&M activities including plant monitoring and feasibility site surveys. Travel to client sites for troubleshooting, participate in full project execution, coordinate testing and commissioning, and prepare handover documents while driving improvements within

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical (Power) Engineering or equivalent.
• Competency Certification such as Registered Electrical Energy Manager or Competent Electrical Supervisor adds advantage.
• Professional Engineer or related certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

Job description

Operation & Maintenance Engineer (Residential Project)

Assist on technical support and assessment on pre-sales and post-installation activities to achieve satisfactory customer experience.

Conduct operation and maintenance work scopes, including but not limited to plant monitoring and prompt analysis of plant’s statuses.

Conduct site survey activities for the purpose of producing technical assessment on the feasibility of conducting solar PV installation.

Travel to customer’s site for troubleshooting system issues.

Actively participate in the entire project execution, including planning and monitoring the delivery for every implementation phase.

Arrange for testing & commissioning, and handover documentation assessment. 7. Be a positive change agent.

Academic Qualification:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical (Power) Engineering or equivalent.

Candidates who possess Competency Certification, i.e.; Registered Electrical Energy Manager, Competent Electrical Supervisor or Chargeman certificate will add advantage.

Candidates who are working on their Professional Certification i.e.; Professional Engineer, Competent Electrical Engineer, Competent Electrical Supervisor are strongly encouraged to apply.

Experiences:

At least 1-3 years of experience in solar asset or facilities management and has experience leading O&M team.

Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, including components, electrical systems, and monitoring equipment.

Technical understanding regarding AC and DC supply and NEM & Self-consumption system.

Knowledge of performance monitoring and data analysis techniques for solar PV systems.

Ability to define issues, analyse problems, evaluate remedial actions and able develop logical conclusions.

Self-motivated, able to work with little supervision and have strong teamwork spirit.

Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and interact with stakeholders.

Familiarity with software tools for performance monitoring and reporting.
