Job summary

Company Confidential is seeking a seasoned Project Controls Manager to lead the integrated controls function for FLNG, Midstream, and upstream interfaces. You will manage schedule, cost, risk and change information, and challenge contractor forecasts through commissioning, acceptance and close-out.

The role requires deep LNG/gas processing experience, plus leadership of dispersed teams across Kuala Lumpur, China yards and offshore sites. Strong governance and reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant project controls experience, including at least 10 years on major oil and gas EPC/EPCIC (> USD1bil) developments and at least 5 years as Project Control Manager or equivalent department lead.
• Experience in LNG/gas processing and offshore/floating facilities is required; direct FLNG experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience leading dispersed controls teams and challenging EPC contractors. Owner/operator or owner-side PMC experience is required; Chinese yard and Indonesian remote-site experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integrated project controls team across Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, China yards and site.
• Maintain the approved cost baseline and cost breakdown structure across contracts and owner costs.
• Track readiness for key milestones including Midstream jetty access, onshore/offshore interfaces, commissioning and handover.
• Provide independent, evidence-based advice to VP Project and coordinate with Finance, SCM, Contracts and Engineering on constraints and decisions.
• Coordinate change management, compliance with governance and timely reporting to EXCO and Board.
