Job summary

Combi-Pack Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Planning professional to own master scheduling and production planning for our Malaysia operations. You will coordinate daily with shop floor supervisors and department heads to ensure jobs execute per plan and priorities are managed effectively.

The role requires 3–5 years in production planning or operations, strong MRP/MPS knowledge, and advanced Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations management.
• Knowledge of MPS, MRP, BOM management, routing, capacity planning, and revision control.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems; Syspro and/or SBMS preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills for pivots, lookups, formatting, and dashboards.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce pre-release order verification standards across items, BOMs, quantities, due dates, packaging, and routing.
• Lead daily production coordination with Shop Floor and dept heads to ensure adherence to plan.
• Own the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and review adherence; implement recovery plans for disruptions.
• Monitor production performance; analyze gaps and present actionable insights at daily meetings.
• Maintain data integrity across planning worksheets and ERP/MRP systems for a single source of truth.
• Coordinate with Procurement/Warehouse/QA to plan material and packaging readiness and mitigate shortages.
• Govern carton label and artwork control; manage version control and distribution of master copies.
• Oversee labeling issuance with traceability and periodic audits for compliance.
• Manage planning document control system; ensure audit readiness and revision control across docs.
• Oversee timely job closures in Syspro/SBMS; verify quantities, scrap, and postings at month-end.
