Job summary

Jabil, a leading global manufacturing solutions provider, seeks a Production Planner to manage planning for the assigned workcell and mentor the Production Planners and Document Coordinators.

You will develop and load the Master Production Schedule (MPS) into Jabil’s ERP system, ensuring PO coverage, capacity alignment, and accurate forecasting while coordinating with the manufacturing team to optimize run quantities and minimize changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience required.
• APICS certification and supervisor experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of MRP and lead times for components.

Responsibilities

• Manage all planning activities for the assigned workcell.
• Develop MPS and load into ERP with PO coverage.
• Reconcile MPS to customer PO weekly.
• Ensure 95% MPS accuracy and 100% on-time delivery.
• Mentor Production Planners and Document Coordinators.
• Maintain BOMs, routings, and document control.
