Job summary
Coherent Malaysia seeks a Principal Product Engineer to provide technical support, analyze product data, and drive improvements from NPI to mass production. You will coordinate with R&D and manufacturing to implement new test processes and ensure robust documentation is maintained.

Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master degree in Electronics, Electrical, Communications, Mechatronics or Physics.
- Minimum 3 years in product or test transfer to production, with NPI experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of BOM management and quality tools; able to interpret schematics and drawings.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and data analysis on product issues and improvements.
- Oversee transfer of transceiver products from NPI to mass production lifecycle.
- Prepare engineering docs and implement changes with revision control.
- Support pilot manufacturing lines for assembly, testing, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with R&D to design and qualify new test processes.
- Develop and maintain debug guides and documentation for products.
- Drive cost reduction, yield improvement, and quality/reliability initiatives.
- Engage with multiple departments during qualification cycles and ECOs.
