Act as the key technical contact point with customers, leading new product quotation activities, evaluating the reasonableness of technical and costing parameters, and providing end-to-end technical support throughout the rubber product development process.
Manage the full lifecycle of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from initial concept, development, and validation through mass production, ensuring project objectives are achieved in terms of quality, cost, and delivery timeline.
Lead product change evaluation and implementation activities, collaborating with internal teams and external customers to ensure successful completion of engineering changes.
Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels and coordinate sufficient resources, including manpower and equipment, to support project execution.
Conduct regular project meetings and monitor outstanding issues, including key action items, project bottlenecks, potential risks, mitigation plans, and lessons learned.
Ensure proper documentation and record management for all product development activities, including engineering change documentation.
Represent the project team in internal and external audits, including customer and supplier-related audits.
Establish, coordinate, and lead cross-functional project teams to ensure effective and organized project execution.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior.
Minimum 3-8 years of experience in product engineering, technical engineering, project management, or related roles within the rubber products / manufacturing industry.
Good knowledge and understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality management systems, with basic knowledge of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) procedures.
Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required; experience with ERP systems will be an added advantage.
