Job summary

CAPLUGS PROTECTIVE COMPONENTS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a seasoned professional to lead new product introduction (NPI) and manage cross-functional projects in rubber product development.

You will act as the technical liaison with customers, oversee quotation activities, and drive changes from concept to mass production while ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are met. The role requires 3–8 years of relevant experience, strong understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, and

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in product/technical engineering or project management within rubber products/manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality management
• Good communication in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) and ability to coordinate with suppliers and customers

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical contact point for customers and lead new product quotation activities
• Manage full lifecycle of NPI projects from concept to mass production
• Lead product change evaluation and implementation with internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate resources (manpower and equipment) to support project execution
• Conduct regular project meetings, monitor issues, risks, and mitigation plans
• Ensure documentation and records for product development and audits
