Job summary

A leading technology-driven organisation is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist for a 12-month contract in Petaling Jaya. You will manage medium-complexity sourcing projects across Professional and Corporate Services, partnering with stakeholders to deliver value beyond cost savings.

You will lead RFQs/RFPs, analyse spend, negotiate with suppliers and drive procurement strategy while leveraging AI and automation to improve workflows. Onsite work is required in Petaling Jaya.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of procurement/sourcing experience, preferably in Professional Services, Corporate Services or indirect procurement.
• Strong experience in strategic sourcing, RFQ/RFP management, supplier evaluation and commercial negotiation.
• Good understanding of cost analysis, spend analysis and procurement strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with procurement systems and data analysis tools is an advantage.
• Comfortable learning and applying AI and automation tools in day-to-day work.
• Self-driven, commercially minded and able to manage multiple sourcing workstreams independently.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

About you

5+ years of relevant procurement/sourcing experience, preferably within Professional Services, Corporate Services or indirect procurement.

Strong experience in strategic sourcing, RFQ/RFP management, supplier evaluation and commercial negotiation.

Good understanding of cost analysis, spend analysis and procurement strategies.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Experience with procurement systems and data analysis tools is an advantage.

Comfortable learning and applying AI and automation tools in day-to-day work.

Self-driven, commercially minded and able to manage multiple sourcing workstreams independently.

Willing to work onsite in Petaling Jaya.
