Swift Energy Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Leader to shape and execute strategic sourcing for capital projects and materials. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive cost savings while ensuring compliance with local and international trade laws.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10–12 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management in oil & gas, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
• Experience in handling large-scale project purchasing planning would be advantageous.
• Experience in expediting delivery of goods to meet project timelines.
• Exceptional contract negotiation, networking, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in data analysis and procurement software/ERP systems.
• In-depth understanding of global supply chain dynamics and engineered products procurement.
• High personal initiative, agility, and an entrepreneurial mindset aligned with company values.

• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and deploy comprehensive procurement strategies for capital projects, raw materials, and specialized electrical/instrumentation equipment.
• Vendor Management: Build and maintain robust relationships with international and local suppliers, negotiating high-value contracts, pricing structures, and favorable commercial terms.
• Cost Optimization: Analyze market trends and spending patterns to identify cost-saving initiatives, waste reduction, and process improvements without compromising quality.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all procurement operations comply with company policies, local/international trade laws, and industry regulatory standards (such as Petronas and local authority requirements).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and Finance teams to align purchasing schedules with active client contract deliverables.
• Team Leadership: Mentor, guide, and oversee the procurement and purchasing team to drive high performance and operational agility.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within the oil & gas, manufacturing, or industrial engineering sectors.
• Experience in handling large scale project purchasing planning would be added advantages
• The candidate must possess the good working experience in expediting delivery of goods to meeting project timeline.
• Exceptional contract negotiation, networking, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in data analysis and procurement software/ERP systems.
