MSR Green Energy Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Senior Procurement Executive to source materials, equipment and services for utility-scale solar and renewable energy projects in Malaysia. The role requires at least five years in procurement or supply chain within RE, construction, or engineering sectors.

You will evaluate quotations, negotiate terms, prepare RFQs and POs, and coordinate with project teams to meet schedules and budgets. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field; five years in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or project coordination preferred.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, POs and vendor management.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, civil, solar PV, construction, or infrastructure materials/services is advantageous.
• Familiarity with payment terms, delivery terms, warranties, Liquidated Damages and Incoterms is advantageous.
• Experience in logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, customs clearance or import coordination is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Source and procure materials, equipment, subcontracted services, and other project requirements for RE projects.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties and other terms.
• Prepare RFQs, POs, letters of award, and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, construction, contracts, finance and site teams to align procurement with schedules.
• Monitor procurement schedules, supplier performance, manufacturing progress, and delivery commitments; address delays.
• Maintain procurement records, quotations, POs, supplier documentation and reports.
• Support supplier prequalification, onboarding and performance assessment.
• Identify alternative suppliers and sourcing strategies to improve competitiveness and reduce procurement risk.
• Ensure all materials meet technical specs, approved brands and contractual standards.
• Coordinate with finance on invoices and payment documentation.
• Assist in delivery planning, customs clearance, transportation and site delivery requirements as needed.
• Travel to project sites to support procurement and logistics.
