FABULOUS SUNVIEW SDN BHD is hiring a Solar Supply Chain professional to source materials for EPCC solar projects, manage end-to-end POs, and coordinate with project teams on procurement requirements and schedules.

The role requires experience in procurement processes, strong organisational skills, and fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese for client communications. Based in Malaysia, the position involves import shipments and Port Klang clearance coordination.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing.
• Experience in construction, EPCC or renewable energy is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of procurement processes.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Good communication skills in Mandarin/Cantonese to effectively communicate with Mandarin/Cantonese-speaking clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with the I-Setia system.
• Possess experience using accounting systems for PO processes (e.g., AutoCount).

Responsabilités

• Source and procure materials, equipment and services required for EPCC solar projects.
• Coordinate with project and technical teams to confirm procurement requirements, schedules and priorities.
• Prepare, issue and manage purchase orders end-to-end in accordance with company policies and approval limits.
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, delivery schedules, order status and supporting documentation.
• Monitor deliveries and resolve issues related to delays, quantity discrepancies, quality concerns or pricing variations.
• Support supplier negotiations to achieve competitive pricing and favourable delivery terms.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases and procurement documentation.
• Support supplier evaluation and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Prepare procurement reports, summaries and cost tracking information for management review.
• Compile Purchase Orders (POs), Delivery Orders (DOs) and invoices for submission to the Accounts Department for payment processing.
• Assist in stock counts and maintain sales order listings.
• Actively monitor import shipments and Port Klang clearance status for critical and long-lead items.
• Liaise with Customs authorities, Port Klang, freight forwarders, and logistics agents to ensure smooth and timely clearance of imported materials and equipment.
• Assess and communicate logistics risk exposure, including customs delays, regulatory changes or port congestion to relevant stakeholders.
• Initiate timely escalation to management when logistics or customs risks exceed acceptable thresholds with clear recommendations to protect project timelines and cost.
• Support management in implementing corrective actions, alternative logistics arrangements or schedule recovery measures when required.

• Experience managing long-lead or critical project materials.
• Exposure to supplier performance analysis or procurement KPIs.
• Experience supporting audits, tender documentation or contract administration.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks related to procurement to support operations and other departments, including Purchase Order (PO)-related activities.
