Job summary

Randstad Malaysia in Klang is seeking a dynamic Procurement Manager/Senior Procurement Executive to optimize supply chain operations, secure materials, and drive cost efficiency while ensuring uninterrupted production.

You will lead strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost/inventory control, using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle to manage purchase orders and monitor supplier performance. Familiarity with Port Klang logistics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Logistics, BA, or Engineering.
• Senior Executive level: 3-5 years procurement experience in manufacturing.
• Manager level: 7+ years leadership in manufacturing procurement.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills.
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing: for raw materials, components, machinery, and MRO supplies.
• Vendor Management: identify, evaluate, and negotiate with global/local suppliers for pricing, terms and delivery.
• Cost & Inventory Control: monitor market trends, drive cost-saving, align stock with MRP.
• Systems Management: use ERP systems to manage POs and track supplier delivery performance.
• Logistics & Compliance: oversee customs documentation, import/export procedures, and Port Klang freight routes.

• Logistics & Compliance: Oversee customs documentation, import/export procedures, and freight forwarding through Port Klang logistics routes.
