Job summary

ASE SEMICONDUCTOR (PENANG) SDN. BHD. in Penang, Malaysia seeks a skilled Process Engineer to sustain and support manufacturing processes, troubleshoot issues, and drive quality, yield, and productivity improvements.

You will perform setup, qualification, and data analysis while mentoring operators and junior technicians. Applicants should have a Diploma in Engineering and at least 5 years in manufacturing or semiconductor environments, with strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing or semiconductor experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and process control.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to train, coach, and mentor others.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and sense of urgency.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience in supporting improvement projects, qualification builds, engineering lots, or NPI is an advantage.
• Experience as technical lead for assigned process is an advantage.
