Job summary

ASE Global in Penang seeks an experienced Process Engineer to sustain and optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and support setup, qualification, and technology transfer activities on the production floor.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering, at least 5 years in manufacturing or semiconductor environments, and strong problem-solving and communication skills to train operators and junior technicians in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing or semiconductor experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and process control.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to train, coach, and mentor others.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and sense of urgency.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience in supporting improvement projects, qualification builds, engineering lots, or NPI is an advantage.
• Experience as technical lead for assigned process is an advantage.
