Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Malaysia is seeking a process development engineer to scout, optimize, verify, and freeze process parameters for quality, cost, and manufacturability targets. You will support prototype builds and ensureTechnical readiness across project execution.

Role involves knowledge transfer between Development and Operations, maintaining Process Specifications and PFMEA/DFMEA, and collaborating with suppliers to qualify new machines and materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline with 1–3 years in semiconductor process development or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of process metrology and inspection equipment used in semiconductor assembly.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for driving process improvements.
• Proven ability to communicate and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with DOE, SPC, PFMEA/DFMEA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute process development activities to optimize parameters and verify qualifications.
• Support prototype builds and development lots ensuring technical readiness.
• Lead knowledge transfer between Development and Operations for smooth manufacturing handoffs.
• Maintain technical documentation like Process Specs, PFMEA/DFMEA, and related records.
• Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate and implement new machines and materials.
