Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Kulim, Malaysia, seeks an Engineer Process to join its R&D/Manufacturing support, focusing on PVD process and tool sustaining.

You will collaborate across Manufacturing, Maintenance, Technology, and Quality to resolve issues, drive process improvements, and support tool installations and transfers. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in semiconductors, an engineering degree, strong English, and willingness to work in a clean-room shift.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor industry.
• Bachelor or Master degree in an engineering discipline (Material Science, Mechanical, Chemical).
• Positive character and good communication in English and ability to interact with all levels of employees.
• Must be able to work in shift pattern inside clean room environment.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems with strategic thinking and presentable.

Responsibilities

• Perform process engineering and production line sustaining for PVD process and tool.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Maintenance, UPE, LBS, Technology and Quality to resolve production and quality issues.
• Support tool installations, process ramp, and technology transfers to meet targets and release workflows.
• Perform FMEA and risk assessments of process changes with proper change management.
• Ensure process robustness with APC, SPC and other control tools.
• Manage recipe and procedures; develop and maintain process and operation specifications and OCAP.
• Coordinate excursion prevention, cost reduction and quality improvement projects.
