Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Malaysia seeks an experienced Process Development Engineer to drive development activities, optimize process parameters, and support prototype builds. You will generate critical process documentation, lead tool- and equipment-verified qualification, and mentor other engineers.

The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on assembly expertise, and a solid foundation in materials science and DOE/statistics.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on knowledge in assembly and manufacturing processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Knowledge of material science and chemical engineering principles.
Proficient in using analytical equipment for process development and troubleshooting.
Experience with design of experiments and statistical data analysis.
Familiarity with MS Office tools for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

Perform process development activities to meet project targets in timeline, quality, and cost.
Hand over technical knowledge to Operations and support prototype builds.
Create and update Process Specifications, PFMEA, DFMEA, and related documents.
Lead verification/qualification for new tooling, machines, and materials in development.
Provide guidance to engineers and project teams; drive IP ideas and innovation.
Lead and coordinate task forces using SPC, APC, DOE, 8D, and FMEA tools.
