Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Malaysia invites a Senior Staff Engineer Unit Process Development SMT to shape the future of technology within our Research & Development team. You will merge creativity with deep technical expertise to drive breakthrough projects and bring new ideas to life.

In this role you will lead process development activities, oversee documentation, mentor engineers, and collaborate with suppliers to qualify new tooling, equipment, and materials for development projects.

Qualifications

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
10+ years in SMT/PCBA manufacturing with hands-on SMT experience.
Proven ability to lead development projects and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

Lead process development activities, scouting, optimization, verification and Process Freeze to hit targets.
Lead knowledge transfer to Operations and maintain Process Specifications and related docs.
Collaborate with suppliers to qualify tooling, equipment and materials for development projects.
Provide technical leadership for complex problem solving using DOE, SPC, 8D, FMEA.
