Job summary

GlobalFoundries Malaysia in Penang seeks a Process Engineer to sustain production lines, monitor SPC/FDC, and improve CPK. You will develop new recipes, leverage big data and AI/ML to enhance process performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and OEMs on先进工艺优化 and I4.0 automation.

The role includes supporting ramp schedules, tool releases, and providing guidance to Associate Engineers, with potential overseas assignments.

Qualifications

MS/BS in Chemical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Chemistry & Physics and other relevant qualification.
Strong communication skills, able to work in cross-functional teams and across fabs.

Responsibilities

Sustain production line, SPC/FDC monitoring, CPK improvement, and troubleshooting support for process and tool issues.
Support Process CIP to improve robustness, cost and capacity efficiency; develop new process recipes for new/existing technologies.
Improve process performance indices using big data analytics, statistical analysis and structured problem-solving.
Work with cross-functional teams, cross fabs and OEM suppliers for convergence on recipes, materials and I4.0 automation.
Support production ramp schedule by process qualification, productivity improvement and new tool release.
Provide training and guidance to Associate Engineers for day-to-day operations; opportunities for rotation and overseas assignments.
