Job summary

Airswift is seeking an experienced process engineering leader for offshore FPSO projects in Malaysia. You will drive FEED through Detailed Engineering and EPC, ensuring key deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs and datasheets meet schedule and quality targets.

You will provide technical leadership, perform M&V calculations, conduct safety studies, and coordinate with clients, licensors and vendors while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8–15 years of process engineering experience in Oil & Gas, FPSO, offshore platforms, LNG, refining or petrochemicals.
• Proven FEED and Detailed Engineering execution experience.
• Strong knowledge of offshore topsides process systems and safety studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering activities from FEED through Detailed Engineering and EPC.
• Prepare, review and approve PFDs, P&IDs and process datasheets.
• Perform heat and material balance, equipment sizing and hydraulics analyses.
• Conduct process simulations using HYSYS/UniSim or equivalent.
• Mentor process engineers and coordinate with clients, vendors and multidisciplinary teams.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Lead process engineering activities for offshore FPSO facilities from FEED through Detailed Engineering and EPC execution. Prepare, review, and approve key engineering deliverables including: Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Process Design Basis Equipment Specifications Operating Philosophy Control Narratives Process Datasheets Perform and validate: Heat and Material Balance calculations Equipment sizing calculations Hydraulic studies Relief and Flare System analysis Utility system design calculations Conduct process simulations using Aspen HYSYS, UniSim, or equivalent software. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Process Engineers and Graduate Engineers. Support process safety studies including HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, LOPA, and Risk Assessments. Interface with clients, licensors, vendors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams. Evaluate vendor packages and technical bids. Manage technical queries and engineering deviations. Ensure engineering deliverables are completed within schedule, budget, and quality requirements. Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and client meetings.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 8-15 years of process engineering experience in Oil & Gas, FPSO, Offshore Platforms, LNG, Refining, or Petrochemical projects. Proven experience executing FEED and Detailed Engineering projects. Strong knowledge of offshore production facilities and topsides process systems. Extensive experience with: Aspen HYSYS / UniSim Equipment sizing and specification Process safety studies Flare and relief system design Offshore utilities systems Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
