Job summary

SolveIT Consultant is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Consultant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role bridges business requirements and technical solutions, collaborating with sales and engineering to tailor scalable architectures and impactful PoCs.

You will engage CTOs and enterprise stakeholders, lead technical responses, and contribute to product development. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in software engineering, strong architecture skills, and hands-on experience with cloud and container

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or .NET.
• Strong knowledge of Software Architecture and Solution Design.
• Experience designing Microservices and Event-Driven Architectures.
• RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL expertise.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience building PoCs and API integrations.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
• 2–3+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Architect/Technical Consultant).

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales & Client Strategy: conduct technical discovery, design scalable architectures, deliver architecture discussions to stakeholders.
• Hands-on Prototyping & Development: build PoCs and prototypes, develop API integrations, contribute to product development.
• Technical Leadership & Collaboration: translate feedback into product enhancements, mentor engineers, support workshops.
