Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a Regulatory Policy professional to support CFCR policy hub activities in Malaysia and India. You will help administer policy documents, ensure compliance with ERMF and governance standards, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver timely regulatory change across the bank.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge and excellent stakeholder management, with a focus on embedding policy across groups and countries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree qualification in financial services or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in policy/frameworks, risk management or regulatory affairs.

Responsibilities

• Strategy: contribute to the function’s vision; support design and buildout of managed services.
• Regulatory Change: review regulations; coordinate with stakeholders; support 1LOD handoff.
• Policy Design, drafting and consultation: draft and update policies/standards; support consultation.
• Policy roll-out and implementation: develop and execute communications and training plans.
• Compliance monitoring: review risk oversight reports; highlight salient points.
• Policy review and maintenance: ensure policy management requirements; support GovPoint.
• Framework and Policy management administration: manage distribution lists; oversee RCSA process.
• Impact Assessment & Implementation: conduct gap analyses and coordinate with Groups.
