Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a Regulatory Reporting professional to support its Malaysia operations in delivering timely, accurate regulatory submissions, including EALIS. You will work closely with Business, Finance, Technology, Compliance, Operations, external vendors and Bank Negara Malaysia to maintain high standards of reporting and to enable changes in regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory reporting and related financial data
• Ability to validate and reconcile reporting data
• Strong attention to detail and timeliness
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with regulatory environments in banking

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit EALIS and other regulatory returns accurately and on time
• Validate and reconcile reporting data against GL and balances
• Conduct trend and variance analyses and explain significant movements
• Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to resolve data quality issues
• Monitor regulatory changes and coordinate process or system enhancements
• Document and track issues, gaps and remediation actions through to closure
• Support regulatory projects, audits and other initiatives to strengthen controls
• Identify and manage regulatory and compliance risks in line with policies
