Job summary

Standard Chartered seeks a Regulatory Reporting professional to lead in-country reporting activities across APAC, with emphasis on control optimization and stakeholder collaboration.

You will work with Compliance, Technology and regional teams to ensure accurate submissions, robust processes and timely responses to escalations while supporting global regulatory initiatives. The role requires strong governance, leadership and risk-awareness.

Qualifications

• Strong regulatory reporting knowledge across APAC, MiFID, EMIR, Dodd-Frank, and in-country regimes.
• Excellent communication skills with FM clients and internal stakeholders.
• Experience with banking reporting systems and remediation.
• Adaptive to Agile ways of working and a control-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with in-country teams and stakeholders to communicate updates and ensure alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and services.
• Support migration and BAU delivery of the In-Country Reporting function.
• Own and support activities related to prevention, detection, assurance and oversight within Regulatory Reporting.
• Provide timely, accurate responses to external and internal queries.
• Collaborate with Technology and Change teams to deliver sustainable improvements.
• Ensure adherence to process documents and update them regularly.
• Strengthen the control framework across the Regulatory Operations team.
• Manage team work allocation and quality delivery to ensure consistency.
• Participate in Group projects and change initiatives with ownership and delivery mindset.
