Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking an experienced Client Account Manager to oversee day-to-day management of a Financial Institutions client portfolio in Malaysia. You will support Coverage Bankers with onboarding, credit documentation, and transaction support, while actively identifying and mitigating operational, conduct and compliance risks.

The role emphasizes collaboration across product, risk, legal, compliance and operations teams to ensure high-quality client service and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance or a related discipline preferred.
• Experience in client account management and financial services is advantageous.
• Knowledge of sanctions, CDD, AML and regulatory requirements is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage day-to-day maintenance for the FI client portfolio and support Coverage Bankers.
• Coordinate onboarding, credit, documentation, and transaction support with cross-functional teams.
• Identify operational risks and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
