Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a seasoned CFCR Advisory professional for the Corporate & Investment Banking Client Coverage across the MEP region. You will provide second-line conduct, financial crime and compliance risk advisory, with governance and proactive risk mitigation.

You will partner with regional and country teams to assess complex structures, advise on sensitive client matters and ensure adherence to global standards while respecting local requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate qualification or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Significant banking/financial services experience.
• Broad CFCR background across multiple areas.
• Advisory or business-partnering experience with senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of corporate structures, ownership and regulatory expectations.
• Experience across multiple countries desirable.
• ICA/ACAMS or equivalent certification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent CFCR advisory and challenge to CIB Client Coverage across MEP.
• Identify/regulate regulatory, conduct and financial crime risks in client matters.
• Support risk assessments, remediation and governance across regional coverage.
• Collaborate with CFCR centres of excellence and business functions.
• Escalate material risks and ensure appropriate governance and documentation.
