Job summary

Billennium seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead a greenfield ERP transformation from a legacy system to SAP S/4HANA in a manufacturing setting. You will own end-to-end planning, execution, and go-live, coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners.

The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years in project management for complex ERP implementations, with manufacturing domain expertise and strong stakeholder communication. English fluency is required, Bahasa Melayu preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
5-8+ years of Project Management experience leading complex enterprise technology implementations.
Proven track record leading greenfield ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor).
Manufacturing domain expertise (discrete or process manufacturing, automotive, electronics, FMCG).
Fluent Bahasa Melayu and strong English for vendor management and reporting.
Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile/Scrum (preferred).

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end greenfield ERP implementation across all business units, on time and within budget.
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and schedules.
Manage vendor/partner relationships to ensure technical and functional alignment.
Map as-is and to-be processes with cross-functional stakeholders.
Ensure manufacturing requirements (BOM, production planning, shop floor, inventory, quality) are integrated.
Drive process optimization and standardization during configuration.
Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; implement change management and user enablement.
Oversee data migration, testing phases (UAT, SIT, Cutover), and go-live execution.
Provide regular progress updates to Steering Committee and executives.

Job Title: Project Manager - ERP Transformation (Manufacturing)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead a critical, greenfield Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformation project - from legacy system to SAP S4 HANA. This role owns the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of a new ERP solution built from the ground up.

The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on project management experience within the manufacturing industry, a deep understanding of core manufacturing operational processes, and the leadership ability to guide cross-functional teams and external implementation partners to a successful go-live.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end greenfield ERP implementation across all business units, delivering on time, within scope, and on budget
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, resource requirements, and detailed schedules aligned with executive leadership goals
Manage the relationship with the ERP implementation vendor/partner, ensuring deliverables meet technical and functional specifications

Business Process & Manufacturing Domain Management

Partner with stakeholders across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehouse Management, Finance, and Quality Assurance to map as-is and to-be business processes
Ensure manufacturing-specific requirements (BOM, Production Planning, Shop Floor Control, Inventory Management, Quality Control) are seamlessly integrated into the new ERP system
Drive process optimization and standardization before and during system configuration

Risk, Issue & Change Management

Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies throughout the implementation lifecycle
Implement a structured Change Management and User Enablement plan to drive adoption across shop floor workers, supervisors, and department heads
Oversee Data Migration (cleansing, mapping, validation) from legacy systems to the new ERP environment
Direct testing phases, including UAT, SIT, and Cutover/Go-Live execution

Stakeholder Communication & Governance

Present regular progress updates, status reports, risk logs, and financial updates to the Steering Committee and Executive Leadership
Serve as the main bridge between technical vendor teams and manufacturing floor personnel, communicating effectively across all operational levels

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience

Minimum 5-8+ years of Project Management experience, specifically leading complex enterprise technology implementations
Proven track record managing at least one full-lifecycle greenfield ERP implementation (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor) from business blueprinting through post-go-live support
Solid domain expertise in manufacturing industries (discrete or process manufacturing, automotive, electronics, FMCG, industrial goods)

Language Skills

Fluent Bahasa Melayu, to engage effectively with operational teams and shop-floor personnel
Strong written and verbal English for vendor management and executive reporting

Certifications (Preferred)

PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification
Able to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-background stakeholders - from shop floor production teams/ manufacturing team, procurement, inventory, and external consultants
Excellent vendor management skills, with experience enforcing SLAs and contractual obligations
High emotional intelligence and change leadership skills to build trust and navigate resistance on the ground
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced project environments
