Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced SAP PP Specialist to support S4HANA PP in a regional setting. You will work with functional, technical consultants and project managers on end-to-end implementations and day-to-day support, aligning with regional/global governance.

The role requires strong SAP PP/S4HANA expertise, 7+ years in the area, and the ability to collaborate across borders. Hybrid working arrangement with Malaysia time is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' SAP PP experience in either implementation or support (L3 for senior / core L2 for mid).
• At least 1 full cycle end-to-end regional or global implementation project.
• Exposure to global template creation/maintenance is an added advantage.
• Experience with SAP MM/SD/WM/FICO/QM/PM/PLM or 3rd party MES is a plus.
• Some exposure to any 3rd party integration is advantageous.
• S4 HANA experience is preferred but ECC is still acceptable.
• Minor ABAP debugging and code reading is a plus (functional role).
• Experience with migration tools LSMW/MASS/LTMC is a plus.
• Process/discreet manufacturing domain exposure is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain S4 HANA SAP PP to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Participate in end-to-end SAP PP projects: gather requirements, configure in SAP, perform UAT.
• Design and configure SAP PP modules aligning with business objectives.
• Maintain good relationships with business users and stakeholders.
• Handle daily Event/Incident/ Change requests when needed.
• Keep updated with latest SAP technologies and propose enhancements.
• Uphold governance, standards and best practices regionally/global.

• To maintain SAP PP to ensure optimum performance and reliability at all time
• To take part in end-to-end SAP PP project eg ; business requirement gathering, understand business processes, hands‑on functional configuration based on requirements (eg ; SAP table and data structure), UAT & others, if any
• To gather requirements, design and configure of S4 HANA SAP PP modules, and implement solutions that align with business objectives
• To maintain a good relationship with the business users lead & other related stakeholders
• To execute daily Event Management, Incident Management, Change Request when necessary
• To keep updated with latest SAP technologies, identify opportunities for improvement, recommend and implement enhancements to optimize system functionality
• To enforce governance processes, standards, and best practices for S4 HANA SAP PP module within regional & global basis

about the manager/team

The role is an individual contributor role where you will be working with other functional, technical consultant, business analyst and project manager on an end to end greenfield implementation / day to day support of S4 HANA SAP PP in a regional (no time differences, only follow Malaysia time) setting. You will also be supported by vendors in an end to end S4 HANA implementation project in other regions (if any).

about requirements:

• Someone who has at least 7 years of experience in either SAP PP within implementation project and/or support (L3 for senior / core L2 for mid) is an added but not compulsory.
• Someone with at least 1 full cycle end-to-end implementation projects on a regional or global basis is an added but not compulsary.
• Those with exposure in creating and maintaining global template is an added advantage but not compulsary
• Those with integration / cross functional exposure on either one of these modules ; SAP MM / SAP SD / SAP WM / SAP FICO / SAP QM / SAP PM / SAP PLM / any 3rd party MES is an added advantage but not compulsary
• Those with exposure in any 3rd party integration is an added advantage but not compulsary
• Someone with S4 HANA experience is mostly sought after but not mandatory (ECC is still welcome to apply)
• Someone with minor ABAP debugging & code reading is added advantage but not compulsary (this is pure functional role, not technofunctional)
• Someone with experience on either one of these migration tools : LSMW / MASS / LTMC is added advantage but not compulsary
• Someone within process / discreet manufacturing is an added advantage but not compulsary.

• up to RM 18,000 (for senior) & RM 13,000 (for mid) can be increased to experienced consultant who already earned more
