Job summary

Molex Malaysia is seeking a Senior/Process Engineer - Injection Molding to lead maintenance and reliability of plating equipment and injection molding lines. You will develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC issues, calibrate equipment, and support installation and commissioning of lines.

Qualifications

More than 5 years of experience working with plating operations and equipment.
Ability to work independently and provide technical coaching to team members.
Solid knowledge of pumps, PLC programming, and mechanical design related to plating processes.
Advanced skills in PLC programming and troubleshooting to resolve control system issues.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules for plating equipment and production lines.
Utilize predictive maintenance tools to monitor equipment conditions and reduce downtime.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC problems to minimize production stoppages.
Calibrate and test plating equipment, ensuring compliance with specifications.
Oversee installation and commissioning of new plating lines or equipment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts usage.
