Job summary

MVC Resources is seeking a skilled Project Planner to support a major data centre construction project in Kuala Lumpur. You will develop and monitor schedules, track progress, and coordinate with site teams to keep the project on track.

The role requires proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project, strong analytical and reporting skills, and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders and trade disciplines.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience in project planning within construction, ideally on large-scale or data centre projects.
• Proficiency in planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and trade disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Track progress against baselines and highlight potential delays early.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and management to gather progress data.
• Prepare progress reports and schedule analyses for management and client reporting.
• Support delay analysis and recovery planning where needed.
• Assist in resource and manpower planning across project phases.
