1Develop a clear understanding of the end-to-end manufacturing process, including printing, lamination, slitting, bag making, and spouting.
Plan jobs into production based on order priority, machine availability, and material readiness. Optimize sequence to reduce downtime and waste.
Track production status against planned schedules. Identify delays or deviations and coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments.
Ensure effective use of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for production planning. Ensure all related department Keep all production-related information up-to-date and accurate in the ERP system so that planning, scheduling, and resource allocation are efficient and reliable.
Coordinate closely with Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, Production, QA/QC, and Logistics to ensure seamless execution from order to delivery.
Identify machine capacity and analyze planned output vs. actual output data to detect potential bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
Recommend process flow improvements based on data insights while ensuring all changes maintain proper documentation and traceability (chain of custody).
Assist in aligning forecasted demand with production capacity to ensure sufficient resource allocation.
Monitor reports on production performance, plan adherence, and capacity utilization. Recommend actions based on data trends.
Develop contingency plans in case of machine breakdowns, material delays, or manpower shortages.
Encourage data-driven decisions by participating in Kaizen, Lean, or Six Sigma initiatives to improve the planning process.
Tracking key metrics like on-time delivery, machine utilization rate, and planning accuracy helps drive accountability.
