Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in SCM/Logistics/IE/Business and at least 5 years in manufacturing planning, preferably with plastic injection molding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Logistics, IE or Business.
• ≥5 years in manufacturing planning; plastics injection molding experience is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with Navision system is an added advantage.
• Strong data analysis, statistics, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with cross-department collaboration.
• Self-motivated, independent, and a strong team leader able to perform with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work in Taman Perindustrian Sinergi, Senai.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee operational machine planning, raw material inventory, and production control to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
• Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipments delivered on schedule.
• Proactively monitor order progress; collaborate to implement contingency plans for delays.
• Coordinate with customers to confirm delivery plans.
• Develop and issue daily and monthly moulding schedules based on orders and forecasts.
• Strategically plan and optimize daily machine capacity and manpower allocation.
• Track and follow up on daily production output; escalate deviations to management.
• Monitor material consumption and prepare purchase requisitions for approval.
• Liaise with purchasers to track supplier delivery schedules and avoid disruptions.
• Ensure all planning activities comply with ISO requirements.
