Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Production Planner to integrate demand, capacity, materials, and production planning to ensure stable operations and strong schedule adherence.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, consolidating demand, analyzing capacity, and communicating risks to on-time delivery. Requires 5+ years in planning and ERP/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years experience in Production Planning, Demand/Material Planning, Scheduling, or PPC.
• Education: Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong analytical skills with solid understanding of MRP/MPS, capacity loading, BOM/routing, and CTB logic.
• Software/Tools: ERP experience required (Epicor preferred) and strong Excel proficiency.
• Soft Skills & Traits: Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage fast-changing priorities. Strong communication and coordination skills across departments.

• Consolidate plannable demand (Build Plan & consignment forecast) and coordinate unplannables (NPI & Spot Buys) through controlled release.
• Analyze capacity loading, validate routing/resource setups, and prepare capacity reports.
• Review clear-to-build readiness, follow up material shortages with SCM/Warehouse, and manage MRP exceptions.
• Issue weekly priority plans, support production execution, and highlight risks to OTD.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Program, Customer Service, Materials, Production, Production Control, Engineering, and Quality.
• Drive planning data accuracy, process improvement, and planning excellence across the department.
