Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Production Planner to coordinate end-to-end planning across production, material, and ERP/MRP workflows in Selangor. You will develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on orders, forecasts, capacity, and delivery requirements.
The role requires strong Excel skills, ERP/MRP knowledge, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, Production, Logistics, QC and Engineering to ensure on-time delivery.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders, forecasts, capacity, and delivery requirements.
Monitor production progress and adjust plans according to changes in demand, priorities, or capacity.
Create and monitor production orders and job releases in the ERP/MRP system.
Plan material and component requirements based on production and customer’s needs.
Monitor material availability and identify potential shortages.
Follow up with Operations & Supply Chain and suppliers to ensure materials are available on time.
Expedite urgent materials to prevent production delays.
Create, release and monitor production orders in the ERP system.
Ensure planning and production information is updated accurately.
Follow up on outstanding and overdue production orders.
Maintain accurate planning and inventory-related records.
Work closely with Operations & Supply Chain, Production, Logistics, QC and Engineering teams.
Coordinate priorities and resolve issues affecting production schedules.
Communicate changes in production plans and delivery requirements.
Escalate critical delays or shortages when necessary.
Prepare production, material and planning reports.
Monitor production status, material shortages and delivery performance.
Identify bottlenecks and recommend improve production planning, material availability, inventory control, and on-time delivery.
Support continuous initiatives to improve production efficiency and on-time delivery.
1. Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
2. 3–5 years of relevant experience in production planning, material planning, manufacturing or supply chain is preferred.
3. Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
4. Good command of English, both written and spoken.
5. Able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
6. Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is an added advantage.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with operational data and reports.
8. Willing and able to commute to the workplace in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam.
