Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to support a major offshore oil & gas development project based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role leads multidisciplinary engineering teams and drives delivery from concept through detailed design with a strong focus on safety and compliance.

Offshore EPC/EPCI background required; Middle East project experience preferred. Competitive package via NES Fircroft with 12 days annual leave and expatriate considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in offshore oil & gas EPC/EPCI projects.
• Experience managing Central Processing Platform (CPP) projects.
• Direct experience in offshore detailed design projects.
• Strong greenfield project background.
• Middle East project experience is highly preferred.
• Proven track record leading sizeable multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience coordinating activities across locations and workshare environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project execution.
• Oversee engineering deliverables, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.
• Coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines, stakeholders, and project interfaces.
• Manage engineering resources and support project planning and execution strategies.
• Facilitate collaboration between engineering teams located across different offices and workshare centres.
• Interface with clients, contractors, vendors, and project management teams.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering personnel.
• Drive technical excellence, safety, and compliance throughout the engineering lifecycle.
